Frequently asked
questions.

Useful working answers for planning a Jerry Pair Leather order through Valley & Laurel. Timings and availability should always be reconfirmed for the individual project.

How long can leather be reserved?
A reserve is normally held for 10 business days. One further 10-day extension may usually be requested, subject to availability and confirmation.
What is a CFA?
A Cutting for Approval allows the client to review the colour and character of the available leather before the order is released. Allow approximately 4–5 business days.
- A CFA is required for pure aniline leathers.
- It is recommended for other leather categories where colour and natural variation matter.
What are the usual lead times?
In-stock leather usually ships within 5–7 business days from the dispatch point in Atlanta, Georgia. International delivery time, approvals and customs sit outside this estimate.
Is there a minimum order?
The minimum order is one hide. Orders are proforma and require payment in full before dispatch.
Can leather be returned?
Any return must be authorised within 30 days and is normally subject to a 25% restocking fee.
- Cut or treated leather cannot be returned.
- Leather supplied after a CFA was waived cannot be returned.
How should I begin?
Share the application, expected traffic, approximate quantity, preferred colour and finish with the Valley & Laurel studio. We can then guide the collection choice, arrange samples and confirm current availability.
Commercial terms, availability and timings may change. Valley & Laurel will confirm the current position before an order is placed.
